Host a QTaster visit
Connect with Queen Mary's next generation of talent. Queen Mary invites Greater London graduate employers to host a two to three hour insight visit for 30-40 pre-selected undergraduates.
QTaster students are engaged, prepared, and actively exploring the graduate job market. This is your opportunity to build your brand early, diversify your talent pipeline, and meet students before they apply.

Why host a QTaster visit?
- Early brand visibility with a diverse, motivated cohort actively considering graduate opportunities.
- A stronger pipeline - QTaster participants consistently submit higher-quality applications and demonstrate greater commitment to employers they've visited.
- Tailored recruitment - we align student selection to your goals, whether by discipline, year of study or diversity targets.
- We manage student selection, training, communications, and logistics.
Who are the students?
All participants are current undergraduates (mainly penultimate or final year). Based on recent cohorts:
- 52% STEM, 24% Business/Economics/Finance, 24% Humanities.
- 61% female.
- 57% from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.
- 29% in receipt of a bursary (household income under £35K).
Queen Mary is the most diverse Russell Group university. Where demand exceeds spaces, we prioritise students from underrepresented backgrounds, including bursary recipients and students identifying as Bangladeshi or Asian British Bangladeshi. This positive action is based on the latest Graduate Outcomes Survey, which shows that Bangladeshi students' progression is lower than other ethnic groups, highlighting existing inequalities.
