If you’re looking for short-term support with a project, or temporarily filling a skills gap, recruiting a Queen Mary intern is a great option for your organisation. Our internships programme is open to start-ups, SMEs, larger organisations and charities.
Types of internship
Summer internships
These are usually two to four months long during the summer break. You can hire your intern on a full-time or part-time basis.
Micro internships
Take on an intern during term time, for a limited number of hours per week (typically seven to ten)

Internship coordinators
Our dedicated team of Internships Coordinators are there to promote your role to relevant students, sift applications, and can even support in creating your job description if needed. The programme is a great opportunity to help the next generation of talent gain experience in your industry, and test out potential future hires.
