Communications toolkit
Essential reading: channels and audiences
Before you look at our pages that give you an overview of practical support, please consider:
- Why do I want to communicate my research or professional opinion?
- Who am I trying to reach?
- What am I trying to do now?
- Why am I doing this now?
It may be that you are looking for trial participants, to interest students; or your research has implications for policy makers or has commercial spinout potential; or it could change people's views on how the justice system works. Or more simply, your research or expert commentary will enhance the reputation of Queen Mary.
This will help you narrow down what communications support you need, and what channels you should use, whether personal networks and social media, University channels such as the Internal Comms newsletter, e-bulletin, or media channels. You can ask us or look at the internal comms pages for comms channels and contacts.
