What is Silktide?
Silktide is a website quality management platform used by Queen Mary to maintain webpages. The platform regularly checks your webpages for content issues, and flags them to you and your team so that you can fix or improve them. You can use Silktide to check things like -
- Content (Includes spelling, grammar, broken links, and SEO)
- Accessibility (Includes image alternative text and accessible PDFs)
Access to Silktide
Access to Silktide isn't automatic, so you will need to request access via the Web team. You should request access to Silktide if you are responsible for updating or maintaining webpages on the Queen Mary website
Requesting access
You can request access by contacting the Web team via websupport@qmul.ac.uk.
When requesting access, please provide the Web team with the webpages, or section of the website, you maintain. This will allow them to give you access to the correct reports and dashboards.
